Deane Bowers Wins Award for Grad Mentoring
Congradulations Deane Bowers! Deane was selected as an Outstanding Graduate Mentor by the Graduate School for 2015/2016. Her nomination came from current graduate students and recent graduates in her lab. The award reflects the long standing dedication and demonstrated excellence Deane has for training her own students, but also for the energy she has invested into improving graduate education in EBIO and enhancing the learning/ living environment for all graduate students as Chair of the Department and in the past as Graduate Chair.
