CU Engage was excited to learn about this program when Associate Professor of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering, Professor Piket-May, applied for and joined the CU Engage Faculty Fellows program. She is currently a member of the 2017-18 cohort of CU Engage Faculty Fellows, which includes faculty doing innovative, community-based teaching and research from across the CU 麻豆影院 campus and a wide range of academic departments. Professor Piket-May works with her CU 麻豆影院 undergraduate students to integrate engineering theory with real life engineering design problems, especially engineering challenges that could assist people living with disabilities.

AMPLIFY: Stories of University-Community Collaborations is a production of CU Engage, the Center for Community-Based Learning and Research at CU 麻豆影院, in partnership with independent community radio . The show aims to amplify the voices of students and community partners who are working together to generate new knowledge and actions to address  public challenges.

You can listen to AMPLIFY live on KGNU every fourth Wednesday of the month at 9am.

The Faculty Fellows in Community-Based Learning program of CU Engage provides resources and support for faculty to design a new course or modify an existing course to include a community-based learning component. The aim of the Faculty Fellows Program is to expand, deepen, and institutionalize community-based learning at CU 麻豆影院.
