Why do you like teaching for the Post-Bacc program?

The Post-Baccalaureate degree in Applied Computer Science is a fantastic program, and I am proud to contribute to it. The interactions between faculty and students and, importantly, between students and students can be exceptional in depth and quality.Ìý Ìý

The highlight of teaching in this program is working with such enthusiastic and motivated students. These students have set high goals and have high expectations for themselves. That commitment translates into the discipline and self-motivation needed to succeed in an online program. I am eager to put in the time and effort to help these students achieve their goals.

What do you like to do outside of CU?

I enjoy hiking, bird watching, and generally just getting out in nature. I love to travel and experience new environments, new cultures, new foods, and new people. I am a bit of a museum buff, with a particular fondness for modern and contemporary art museums. Reading is a passion, everything from science fiction to biographies to literary classics to history and philosophy. I’m always on the lookout for interesting books -- please tell me your favorites.
