The Ren茅e Crown Wellness Institute听is partnering with La Cl铆nica del Pueblo听to co-design a culturally responsive, evidence-based, peer-led mental health support program. This initiative will integrate mental health care into the existing lifestyle services at La Cl铆nica, focusing on Latinx individuals with chronic diseases like cardiovascular conditions.

Our goal is to make mental health care more accessible and effective for underserved communities. We will collaborate closely with community members, leaders, and mental health experts to ensure the program meets the unique needs of the population. By training peer mentors to provide support, the program will be grounded in trust and cultural understanding and will be available in Spanish.听

To ensure the program's success, we will track its impact on mental health and well-being, making ongoing adjustments as needed. We are also committed to securing long-term sustainability through funding and partnerships, ensuring the program continues to benefit the community even after the project ends.

The project will run from听July 2024 to June 2027. Our mission is to create lasting, meaningful mental health support for those who need it most.
