Sachi is a Psychology major and is currently on the pre-medicine track. She aspires to become a psychiatrist and serve underrepresented communities in the mental health field. She has extensive research experience in the areas of cognitive and social psychology. Beyond the academic setting, she is passionate about community service. She has volunteered at the Children's Hospital of Colorado Springs and as a medical scribe at local clinics. She is currently volunteering as a Crisis Counselor for the Crisis Text Line organization, offering vital support to those in need. In her free time, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes and playing tennis. She joins the Renée Crown Wellness Institute as a research assistant for the Also Our Campus team. She hopes to channel her skills and enthusiasm into making a meaningful impact in the areas of trauma and sexualized violence prevention, minority stress, and cultural humility.
