Kathy Cesta is a recent first-generation graduate from the Â鶹ӰԺ who obtained her BA in Psychology and Neuroscience. She had been a student participant of the MCP, and this is her second time as a student mentor for the MCP. She is also a Research Assistant for the Adolescent Brain and Cognitive Development (ABCD) study here at CU Â鶹ӰԺ. Kathy is deeply committed to promoting mental well-being and overall health in youth, with a particular focus on mindfulness practice. Her goal is to support others in cultivating mindfulness as a tool for improving emotion regulation and achieving a balanced, healthy lifestyle. She strives to help make mindfulness accessible to all while addressing the unique challenges faced by marginalized and underrepresented communities.
