She/Her/Hers • Undergraduate Student Assistant • Mindful Campus Program

Kathryn is a current undergraduate honors student at the Â鶹ӰԺ pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology while minoring in business. Kathryn is a Student Mentor and Research Assistant for Mindful Campus. Prior to working for Crown, she was a participant in Mindful Campus Program, which sparked her journey with mindfulness. As a co-designer and co-facilitator, Kathryn hopes to bring mindfulness to the CU Undergraduate population and beyond.

Kathryn is passionate about using the mind-body connection to treat chronic conditions. She believes unrecognized emotions stored in the body often manifest as physical and psychological pain. Holding emotions compassionately in awareness helps strengthen the relationship within to unlock limitless healing potential.

Kathryn’s perspective has led her to working as a Clinical Research Assistant for Dr. Yoni Ashar where they study the efficiency of a mind-body treatment for chronic pain.

In 2023, Kathryn was selected for the David Drutz Scholarship in Psychology for her research contributions, academic achievement, and promise to the field. Kathryn believes following and trusting her intuition will lead her to a fulfilling, successful life.
