Audrey Gilfillan

Audrey completed her MA in Educational Psychology with an Emphasis inÌýCounseling and Student Personnel Psychology from the University of MinnesotaÌý– Twin Cities. Her previous work includesÌýcollege counseling, careerÌýcounselingÌýand academic coaching. Audrey is passionate about supportingÌýcollege students as they navigate the intersection of their academic goalsÌýand mental health.

College can be an exciting time, but it can also be one filled with anxiety,Ìýuncertainty, loneliness and self-doubt. To support college students, AudreyÌýleans on a collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy. She believesÌýtherapy can be a powerful space to deepen self-awareness, learn skills toÌýhelp clients better relate to themselves and othersÌýand normalize the humanÌýexperience. Audrey relies on evidence-based practices including MotivationalÌýInterviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, self-compassion, mindfulnessÌýandÌýAcceptance and Commitment Therapy.

In her free time, Audrey loves spending time with her two dogs, reading,Ìýlistening to new podcasts, visiting national parks and exploring hikingÌýtrails.
