Cost share covers theÌýadditional contributions and supportÌýtoward a project or awardÌýnot funded by the sponsor.ÌýCost share includes both mandatory and voluntary commitments.
CUÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ's cost share accountantÌýassists with the following:
- Reviews cost shares to ensure CUÌýÂ鶹ӰԺ is in compliance with federal statutes, regulations,ÌýCU policies and procedures,Ìý²¹²Ô»å terms and conditions of the award
- Monitors allÌýcost shares
- Helps to determine if charges are allowable, allocable and reasonable
- Creates cost share reports and certifications for federal, stateÌý²¹²Ô»å private awards
​Participant Support Costs
Participant support is a portion of the award specifically created by the sponsoring agency to enrich learning experiences. Monitoring is completed by the cost share accountantÌýon a quarterly basis to ensure expenses meet the participant support guidelines, and specifically theÌýrestrictions, contained in the terms and conditions of participantÌýaward.
