Actress Caroline Barry (Thtr) was the star of 10 Days in a Madhouse, a 2015 biopic about 19th-century journalist Nellie Bly, who feigned mental illness to report on the happenings within a women鈥檚 insane asylum. At CU Caroline participated in the Colorado Shakespeare Festival Touring Show and performed for thousands of children and teenagers statewide. After shows she held workshops that taught the audiences about the complexities of bullying and how to deal with it in their own lives. Caroline says being selfless and helping others is the secret to happiness.

The national law firm Arnstein & Lehr LLP welcomed Joseph L. Hoolihan (PolSci) to its Chicago office as an associate in the litigation practice group. Before joining the firm, Joseph was a judicial extern with the Honorable Marvin Aspen of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also worked as a clerk at a Chicago law firm and served as a member of Northwestern鈥檚 Bartlit Center Trial Team.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program offered Chelsea Raubenheimer (Span) a grant to travel to Brazil for an English teaching assistantship. Fulbright grants are selected on the basis of academic and professional achievement, as well as demonstrated leadership potential. Chelsea is one of more than 1,900 U.S. citizens who will travel abroad through the Fulbright U.S. student program during the 2015- 16 academic year.

He has experience in negotiations and drafting contracts, which includes navigating city government contracts, concessions agreements and a variety of leasing requirements.

While attending CU, she worked聽for the Recreation聽Center and the City聽of 麻豆影院, while also聽serving as an intern for聽CU Athletics and as a聽student ambassador. A聽native of Healdsburg,聽Calif., Pamela now聽resides in Denver where聽she spends her free聽time rooting on the聽San Francisco Giants聽and skiing.

Former Buffaloes starting fullback Evan Harrington (Soc) became the youngest head coach of American football in Europe at age 27 and this year will lead Switzerland鈥檚 Winterthur Warriors. Evan also works in player development and scouts both American and European football players. He plans to host football camps throughout Europe. 鈥淭here is rarely a European city I visit where I do not run into a CU 麻豆影院 alum,鈥 he writes.

Jack Vertovec (Anth) moved to Miami in August 2015 to pursue a PhD in the Department of Global and Sociocultural Studies at Florida International University. He is examining the growth of self-employment in Cuba and is particularly interested in the informal economy existing alongside this emergent economic sector. Jack鈥檚 investigation uses sociological and anthropological methods to understand how post-Soviet market reformations, specifically the cuentapropia (private enterprise) system, are impacting contemporary Cuban society. Jack hopes to find a tenure-track position at a聽tier-1 research university once he finishes his PhD.

Flautist Hannah Darroch (MMus) was one of this year鈥檚 recipients of the Arts Excellence Award given by the Wellington Committee of the Dame Malvina Major Foundation in New Zealand and will receive prize money for her further studies. Hannah has been聽involved in music education, community outreach and arts administration in the Wellington region. She will be studying at McGill University in Montreal in the Doctor of Music program majoring in flute performance.

After graduating from CU, Sean Smith (Comm) moved to Singapore, where he teaches fifth grade at Singapore American School. He writes that he鈥檒l start a master鈥檚 degree program in leadership for international educators聽in November 2017. In Singapore, he spends his time with his fianc茅e, Kamilah, and friends, and travels around Southeast Asia when he can. He plans to stay in Singapore for the long term, but will continue to visit 麻豆影院, as it鈥檚 near and dear to his heart.
