Twins Emerson and Atticus Walsh were born to parents Kerri and听Matthew Walsh听(Film鈥92) last spring. Matthew writes that the babies received their first CU gear, matching Buff wool hats, when they were three months old. The family is a Pac-12 family as Kerri graduated from the University of Southern California. They live in Glendale, Calif.

As a major in the Army Reserve听George Brauchler Jr.听(Econ, PolSci鈥92, Law鈥95) was originally commissioned after finishing CU鈥檚 ROTC program. He writes he is helping wrap up the war in Iraq and was deployed as the chief of military justice for U.S. Division-North, which covers 84,000 square miles of Iraq. He lives in Littleton, Colo., with his wife and four children.

Forensic scientist听Peter Stout听(EPOBio鈥92, PhD鈥99) has been appointed to serve a four-year term on the North Carolina Forensic Science Advisory Board. The board advises the lab director and staff at the North Carolina State Crime Laboratory on ways they can strengthen the state forensic laboratory system to solve crimes and provide improved service to the criminal justice system. Peter has 15 years of experience in forensic urine drug testing, postmortem toxicology and human performance testing laboratories.

Phillip has been a professor there since 1996 and teaches both undergraduate and graduate courses in signal processing, embedded systems and machine learning. He lives in Las Cruces, N.M.

Here Lies Hugh Glass, a novelby听Jon Coleman听(Hist鈥92, MA鈥97), is 鈥渁 vigorously written meditation on 19th-century America鈥檚 encounter with the wilderness,鈥 according to听The Wall Street Journal.听Jon is an American history professor at the University of Notre Dame. He also wrote听Vicious: Wolves and Men in America, which won the W. Turrentine Jackson Prize and the John H. Dunning Prize. Jon lives in South Bend, Ind.

One would think that three kids and a horse training business might be enough to keep听Jill Kunz Pelzel听(PerMgmt鈥92) busy. 鈥淥n the side鈥 she serves as vice president of the Colorado Hunter Jumper Association and coaches CU鈥檚 nationally ranked equestrian team. In the aftermath of last year鈥檚 devastating floods, Jill also ran a food and supply drive for pets and livestock affected by the flood. She lives in Fort Lupton, Colo.

The CU-麻豆影院 International Film Series, run by听Pablo Kjolseth听(Hum鈥92), went digital this fall. Pablo says he waited as long as he could before using digitized film but he had to keep up with the rapidly evolving industry. The series has not abandoned 35mm films however.
