Strategic recommendations are presented to enhance inclusive workforce development initiatives by US education institutions, and public and private sector stakeholders. Dive into the implications of the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) (Bipartisan Infrastructure Law) exacerbating the workforce shortage of US STEM industries. Despite this scenario, numerous legal, ready-to-work New Americans (refugees, asylum seekers, migrant professionals, international students) with requisite expertise remain overlooked, underemployed, or unemployed. It's time to rectify this oversight!
