The women鈥檚 basketball team went 9-4 in nonconference play in聽Linda Lappe鈥檚 (Mktg鈥�02) first season as head coach. The Buffs lost just once at home versus a nonconference opponent to Illinois. By the end of January CU fell to 11-8 overall and 2-4 in the Big 12 Conference.
In the Buffs鈥� home tournament, sophomore聽Chucky Jeffery聽posted the first triple-double (13 rebounds, 10 points, 10 assists) by a CU women鈥檚 basketball player since Sandy Bean in 1979.
