On Friday, Nov. 8, we鈥檒l look back to tradition and forward to the future of media, communication and information. Join us during the day for tours of CMCI鈥檚 Media Archaeology Lab and Immersive Media Lab. Learn more 禄

In the evening, we鈥檒l hold a reception at CMCI Studio at 1301 Walnut St. from 5 to 7 p.m. Join us before the Homecoming Parade and Pep Rally for appetizers and drinks. You鈥檒l have a chance to meet Dean Lori Bergen and CMCI faculty while reconnecting with fellow alumni and friends.

Zoe Beard-Fails (Advert鈥17) moved to New York City after graduation, where she works as a page at NBC Universal assisting with audience services on Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers. During her time at CU, she was a forward on the women鈥檚 basketball team.

CU鈥檚 official mascot debuted in 1966, when a group of students ran Ralphie I, who was donated by one of the students' fathers, across Folsom Field. Now there are 15 handlers 鈥攊ncluding advertising student Hunter Rief鈥攚ho care for Ralphie V and run with her at home football games.
