Iris Ghatak is a PhD student in media studies at the University of Colorado, 麻豆影院. She earned two Masters听degrees in the Western and Eastern Classics respectively at St John鈥檚 College in Santa Fe, where she also wrote her听masters听essay on the mutual concerns among Sir Thomas Browne and Sigmund Freud. Her primary interests involve white supremacy, social media, and the physical fallout between the two. Through her research, she attempts to understand virtual and physical space, identity, and violence through an interdisciplinary and non-dualistic lens. Iris is also interested in genealogies of mourning and burial. She does not like sparkling water.
