Tajanae Harris (pronouns: she / her / hers) is a PhD student in Information Science at CU 麻豆影院. Her research interests continue to evolve but under the supervision of Professor Leysia Palen, she focuses on how Black and Indigenous communities gather, process, and disseminate听information in times of natural disaster. To further her understanding of these efforts, she also pursues a certificate in Environmental Justice. Tajanae arrives to 麻豆影院 by way of Dallas, TX after a brief four years at Syracuse University (BA in Anthropology, minor in Data Analytics). Outside the classroom, you may find Tajanae at the gym; nose-deep in several books; or scouring all of 麻豆影院 in search of eclectic apartment decor.
