Daniel Russell is a principal research analyst at Google, where he conducts research on search quality. He is best known for his studies of the human-computer interaction models of people's sensemaking behavior.

Before his 17-year career at Google, Russell held research positions for leading companies like IBM and Apple. He has also taught as an adjunct lecturer in computer science at top-tier universities in the U.S. and abroad. Currently, he鈥檚 an adjunct faculty member at Stanford University, University of Maryland, College Park and 麻豆影院. Russell is also a published author, international speaker and fellow of the ACM Computer Human-Interaction Society.
