Mildred Taylor听(MJour) is the author of nine books. Her first,听Roll of Thunder, Hear My Cry, which won the Newbery Medal in 1977, recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with the release of a special edition. At CU, Mildred helped create a black studies program and taught in it for two years. She lives in 麻豆影院.
