Job Description:

Content Creation/editing: You will have the chance to develop creative content for social media posts, including videos, memes, infographics, and other multimedia formats. A large portion of this role will be editing content that others capture in active markets.

Campaign Management: Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns and strategies that align with Goodie Bag's business goals.

Scheduling: Create and maintain social media posting schedules to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.

Engagement: Monitor and respond to user comments and messages promptly, engaging with customers or clients. Like and comment to potential local partners in active markets.

Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends to keep our strategies current and effective. Perform a weekly exercise of researching current trending sounds, songs, memes, and video formats.

Suggestions: Provide suggestions to management for improving engagement. We want you to implement your own indiviudalistic style and creativity to the content you create. If something’s not working let us know and suggest other paths.

Job Requirements:

Most importantly: Strong proffienceny in video editing software (Final Cut, Adobe Premire, Etc.) Any software where you’re able to splice clips, adjust audio levels, add word-by-word subtitles, etc.

Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram and TikTok mainly) and their respective audiences.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Paid?

5 hours per week. Not paid but credit offered. --- Willing to pay for extra hours if job goes over the 40-50 hour/semester threshold.

Opportunity to for an internship through a volunteer opportunity for our five day film festival in Telluride, Colorado over Memorial Day weekend - May 22-26, 2025.

Description of Duties

Volunteer jobs for the festival weekend range from film events, guest wrangling, rigging, theater management to backstage support, sponsors and hospitality.

Who they are looking for

Anyone interested in documentary film, film production, professional development around film making and storytelling, distribution, the outdoor industry, filmmaker networking events, sponsorships and festival management is welcome to apply.

Applicants sign up for a volunteer position for the weekend and then have time to experience the festival films and events as well as network.

DESCRIPTION

The Museum of �鶹ӰԺ is seeking a videographer to film the 12th season of our well loved speaker series �鶹ӰԺ Conversations with Extraordinary People. The program highlights the innovative people whose connection to our city makes �鶹ӰԺ the remarkable place that it is today. This season’s theme is Diversity and Partnership, and we have chosen to collaborate with eight impactful �鶹ӰԺ organizations that have made immense contributions to the living history of our community. There are eight distinguished speakers from different organizations, each program will be held on the second Thursday of every month September 2024 through April 2025 at the Museum of �鶹ӰԺ.

Payment for Services

Buck Ross Productions or “Buck Ross” will offer it’s equipment to students for use whenever equipment is available and
usage requests are reasonable. For both internships, there is a $300 honorarium awarded to the student at the completion
of the internship. For the internship for credit, BRP will aid in reviews and paperwork needed for the student to also gain
credit hours at CU.

Time Commitment

The honorarium internship is 3 months in length and offered year round depending on position availability.The
internship for credit is a semester long and offered near the start of each school semester and/or summer.

Equipment

Students will need to provide a working phone and computer. Buck Ross will provide any and all neededadditional
equipment from video editing systems to all needed camera equipment.

Description of Duties

Administrative and post production management. Assistant camera work and editing duties. Sound recording. Andyes,
coffee getting.

What Students Will Learn

This is real world film/video production work in a local company. Students will learn about all stages of video
production (pre-production, shooting, editing) as well as the different business elements involved with production
company management (marketing, admin, organization, etc).

Hours of Work Required per Week

For either internship opportunity 8-10 hrs/week is required. For honorarium internship, the term is 12 weeks (3 months).
For the college credit internship, the term is usually a semester in length, but contingent on the amount of credit student
is working for and the advice of the university

Hybrid Internships [1 Day In-Person (Greenwood Village, CO) + 1 Day Remote]

8-12 Hours/Week / August - December

Marketing:

Work with the marketing team on various marketing tactics including email campaigns, social and paid media, SEO optimization, and influencers to drive awareness for Fathom’s events. From anime to the classics, you’ll get hands-on experience with all our events.

Operations:

Learn how and what it takes to deliver an event at scale. Work closely with the operations team, exhibition, and the Fathom Events Engineers (“The FEE”) to learn the technical and operational tactics implemented for bringing successful events to cinemas.

Programming:

Help the team that identifies, vets, and negotiates which events we bring to the big screen. Work with programming and content providers to help develop FOMO-worthy event cinema experiences.

Finance:

Work closely with the finance team to get hands-on experience on all elements of finance and accounting for running a business.
