Dan earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Arthur Nozik here at CU �鶹ӰԺ in 2017 and is now a postdoctoral researcher at the Clean Energy Institute at the University of Washington. "Dr. Kroupa’s research on perovskite thin films could create an efficiency breakthrough for solar photovoltaics when integrated with silicon panels".

Researchers from MIT and the University of Colorado have fabricated a 3-D transistor that’s less than half the size of today’s smallest commercial models. To do so, they developed a novel microfabrication technique that modifies semiconductor material atom by atom.

Distinguished Professor Marvin Caruthers of CU �鶹ӰԺ’s Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry was honored for his pioneering contributions to the chemical synthesis of DNA and RNA, making it possible to decode and encode genes and genomes.
