Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology
David received a BA in May 2012 from Colby College and majored in Biology. He听completed听his PhD in the Department of Molecular, Cellular听and Developmental Biology and his advisors were听Dr. Corrie Detweiler and Dr. Robin Dowell. He did his rotations with Dr. Corrie Detweiler in the department of Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology, Dr. David Bortz听in Applied Mathematics and with Dr. Robin Dowell in the department of Molecular, Cellular听and Developmental Biology. David joined the Dowell Lab in 2014 and his research interests are investigating the application of metagenomics to the quantification of viral quasispecies. David graduated in Summer 2018.
