Philosophy of Teaching & Learning: My philosophy of teaching & learning is to be learner responsive. I value and respect learners by understanding they each come with their own differences of their roles, perspectives, and processes of learning. My concept and goal of education is to begin with the individual鈥檚 level of development and knowledge and encourage learners to critically think and reflect to make meaning of their experiences; challenge underlying assumptions; engage in dialogue to promote awareness of other perspectives; and then move beyond the self by contributing to their profession and their communities. 聽
