Lambert holds a Master’s degree in Global Health and a Bachelor's in Applied Statistics from the University of Southampton and the National University of Rwanda, respectively. In his role as Research Manager at Amazi Yego, he oversees research activities by ensuring that the projects are conducted according to the study protocols, assisting in the planning of project activities, managing Amazi Yego team including recruitment, training and overall supervision; contributing to development of additional collaborative research proposals, and liaising with project partners.

Prior to joining the Mortenson Center, Lambert coordinated a process evaluation for a trial that integrated an advanced water filters into the Community Based Environmental Health Promotion Programme, Rwanda; and before that he managed the Household Air Pollution Intervention Network Trial to investigate health benefits of the Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) stove. In addition to managing research projects, Lambert is passionate about health equity and this led him to join the Global Health Corps, a diverse community of leaders who builds the movement for global health equity.
