Research Interests:听I am pursuing a dual PhD in social psychology and neuroscience. My research explores psychological and biological factors that contribute to health behavior change and maintenance. I aim to develop and evaluate interventions to promote health protective behaviors and minimize risky behavior engagement. My primary line of research focuses on eating behavior, with an emphasis on fruit and vegetable consumption. This research, which is supported by a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship, examines psychological and neurocognitive factors associated with successful eating behavior change and maintenance in the context of incentive interventions. In the lab, I am also involved in FORCE, which examines the effects of physical exercise exercise on functional network connectivity in the brain as well as cognitive, social, emotional, and financial function. My primary role on this project is managing and analyzing self-report, behavioral, and fMRI data.

麻豆影院 Me:听As a native New Englander, I grew up up in Connecticut, attended school in glorious Hanover, New Hampshire, and spent two years in Boston researching at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School. When not exploring the psychology and neuroscience of health behavior, I enjoy hiking and skiing. Additionally, my interests in eating behavior are not limited to the research domain; I also love to explore different foods and recipes, with particular current interests in vegetables of the Brassica oleracea family and interesting cheeses.
