Cari received the听award because of her stellar support of听all efforts听across the lab. Not only does she provide high-level听assistance on grant writing听and听analysis of data/writing manuscripts from many of our large trials, but she also provides听amazing support to our PRAs听and undergraduates who want to get more in-depth experience in research. For example, she has developed听a听psychedelics research interest group听across CUChange听and CHAOS, helped Maddie听and Harmony to听analyze data on psychedelic use in SONIC participants听and submit听a听poster听abstract to the ICR conference,听and she is mentoring Cassie to听analyze听and present her honors thesis data. She does听all of this while developing her own independent program of research in maladaptive substance use, culminating in the recent submission of her K听award. For听all these reasons Cari听deserves the听A听Bud听and听Beyond Award!!
