Lolita Buckner Inniss is the seventeenth dean, the second woman dean, and the first Black dean in the 130-year history of the University of Colorado Law School. A highly regarded leader and scholar with a prominent national and international voice, Dean Inniss is an elected member of the American Law Institute, is chair-elect of the Association of American Law Schools Women in Legal Education section and a member of the Law Deans鈥� Steering committee. Her book, The Princeton Fugitive Slave: The Trials of James Collins Johnson (Fordham UP 2020) was named as one of five books leaders should read on systemic racism, and was reviewed in the New York Review of Books in 2022. She is also co-author of a book in progress, Talking 麻豆影院 Black Lives Matter and #MeToo (with Bridget Crawford) (UC Press 2024).
