Benson Center visiting scholars John C. and Elizabeth C’de Baca Eastman recently led a riveting discussion on  "Liberty vs. Security: The Constitution in Times of Crisis" at the Steamboat Institute's August 28-29, 2020 Freedom Conference & Festival at the Park Hyatt in Beaver Creek, Colorado. .  

Constitutional scholar and professor John C. Eastman is currently the director at Chapman University's Center for Constitutional Jurisprudence and the CU Â鶹ӰԺ Benson Center's Visiting Scholar in Conservative Thought and Policy for the 2020-21 academic year. His wife, political scientist and professor Elizabeth C’de Baca Eastman, is the Center's 2020-21 Senior Scholar in Residence.
