Professor Diederichsen will introduce the three-year, multi-national exhibition and research project听, jointly organized by Goethe Institut and Haus der Kulturen der Welt in Berlin. The project takes the nineteen-volume novel cycle听Die Geschichte der Empfindsamkeit, which听Fichte听worked on between 1970 and 1986, as a starting point. The seminar discussion will be based on three excerpts from a novel of this cycle,听Explosion: Roman der Ethnologie听(,听,听).听The seminar will be conducted in German. Reception to follow.听
