- In聽2005聽a trailer slated for the dump聽was transported聽to Mapleton Mobile Home Park in 麻豆影院 and renovated聽there.聽Built by more than 50 CU 麻豆影院 students, the Trailer Wrap project聽held聽lessons for future project-based learning, including a CEDaR-led manufactured home renovation planned for this summer or fall, depending on the state of the pandemic.
- For the past 12 years Growing Up 麻豆影院 was聽a part of聽CU 麻豆影院's鈥燙ommunity Engagement, Design and Research (CEDaR) Center. Now one of the most鈥痵uccessful child-friendly city initiatives in the world, GUB is聽transitioning to an independent聽nonprofit, a model for how the聽university聽can develop, nurture and then spin off聽nonprofit聽activities.
- Growing Up 麻豆影院 and the city of 麻豆影院, Colorado, are actively involving all stakeholders to make it a child- and youth-friendly city.
- Professors Emeriti in CEDaR, Louise Chawla and Willem van Vliet, co-authored a chapter on 鈥淐hildren鈥檚 Rights to Child-friendly Cities," which was published in the latest edition of the Handbook of Children鈥檚 Rights (Routledge, 2017).
