Leyla graduated from CU 麻豆影院's Program in Environmental Design听in 2018 with an emphasis in urban planning. While at CU, she听focused her听research on听the zoning regulations that alleviate听environmental impacts听caused by new听building developments in听Colorado's urban centers. Leyla became听fascinated听with sustainable planning and landscape practices, and she began听interning with CEDaR in early 2017, helping听with various marketing, graphic design听and event planning tasks.听During her internship, she became involved in听a green infrastructure research project in Denver where she designed and constructed rain gardens and rain barrels. The project听led to local residents integrating听green infrastructure in their own yards.
