Cliff Gronseth

After graduating Dartmouth College, Cliff Gronseth worked in Africa and Asia. He attended University of California San Francisco School of Medicine and completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency at the University of Michigan. After residency, he held a faculty position at the University of Colorado Medical School in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine. He is triple board certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation, electrodiagnostic medicine, and pain medicine.
At the University of Colorado, Dr. Gronseth started the University Spine Center, a multispecialty center focused on surgical and non-surgical spine care. He also helped establish rehabilitation clinics in various Colorado communities: Â鶹ӰԺ, Aurora, and Steamboat Springs. He served as director of the University Spine Center, medical director of the Department of Rehabilitation’s Outpatient Services, and medical director of the University Physical Therapy practice in Â鶹ӰԺ. He has been acknowledged for his teaching, receiving outstanding teaching awards.
Currently, Dr. Gronseth is a managing partner of Spine West, a private practice in Â鶹ӰԺ, Colo. specializing in non-surgical musculoskeletal medicine and ultrasound. He is founder and CEO of 7D Imaging, Inc., an education technology company focused on diagnostic ultrasound. He is also founder of the NYAGI Project, a nonprofit organization focused on saving mothers’ and babies’ lives with ultrasound in remote areas of the world, for which he received the 2018 Humanitarian Service Award from the International Foundation for Sonography Education and Research. He has a passion for bringing ultrasound technology to underserved areas of the world and creating bridges to the less fortunate in the process.
