- Clark Lindsay (CivEngr'96) is the founder and CEO of Pacific Program Management. With 100 people at 16 locations across the U.S., PPM draws major clients to its commercial real estate services through its people-first focus.
- American Society for Civil Engineers (ASCE) has honored Mortenson Center alumni Dr. Aaron Opdyke as a 2021 New Face of Civil Engineering.
- Nancy Clanton is a pioneer in the illumination engineering field. A 1975 CU 麻豆影院 graduate in architectural engineering and a registered professional engineer, she is the founder and CEO of Clanton & Associates, a prominent lighting design firm that regularly employs University of Colorado graduates and interns.
- Paul Brinkman graduated from the 麻豆影院 in 1996 with a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering. In 2005, he co-founded Brinkman Partners, an integrated real estate company, with his brother, Kevin, and together they led the Fort Collins-based commercial development, real estate and construction company to what it is today 鈥 a highly respected company with more than 150 employees and well over $250 million in annual revenue.
- Heather Doty (Mus'00, BSMSCivEngr'01, MBA'10) credits the Society of Women Engineers with helping her find her community. Doty will serve as national SWE president through June 2021.
- Alumnus Vince Kontny (CivEngr鈥58), a longtime friend of CU Engineering and influential member of the engineering and construction industry, passed away Aug. 9 at age 83.
- CU 麻豆影院 alumnus Marco Campos (CivEngr'98) and his company, Campos EPC, have provided $1 million through the Campos EPC Foundation to allow for a transformational renovation of the BOLD Center.
- Gupta founded SDI in 1996 and today continues to lead the firm as chief executive officer.
- Barstow is the chief operating officer for Bridges to Prosperity, a non-governmental organization providing access to remote communities through the construction of pedestrian footbridges.
- Mauritz 鈥淢ort鈥 Mortenson (CivEngr鈥58), who passed away Nov. 9 at his home in Minneapolis, Minnesota, at age 82, leaves behind a deep personal and professional legacy, including endowing the Mortenson Center in Global Engineering.
