Wages Important Information: The minimum wage for undergraduate hourly student positions is $16.00 per hour and for graduate students it is $17.60 per hour. If you need assistance determining an appropriate pay rate, Student Employment has a webpage that lists pay ranges based on the level of work your employee will be conducting. We can hire within any of those ranges, so long as the work associated with the pay is justified. Pay rates for Graders, Readers, and Course Assistants are set and paid for by the department. Please acquire approval from the Department Chair prior to submitting a hire request for one of these positions. When submitting a hire request for one of these positions, for the section that requests "speedtype," simply type "Grader speedtype."
