Catalog Description
Explores the global rise of fundamentalism, particularly Islamic fundamentalism. Students will analyze fundmentalism as a function of modernity, and in metaphysical rather than geostrategic or cultural terms. Students will also examine the arguments of Muslim fundamentalists, and the counterarguments of their critics.
