Christy is currently pursuing her doctorate in Music Education at the Â鶹ӰԺ with special interest in Ethnomusicology and music of East Asia. She received her Bachelors in Music Education at Lawrence University and Master of Music Education at Â鶹ӰԺ. Christy has experience teaching music in the UK and the US and is an alumni of the Japanese Exchange and Teaching Program where she spent 2 years teaching English in Yamagata Prefecture.
