The Center for Asian Studies is pleased to announce two聽exciting events this weekend:

Rajeev Taranath, one of the world's leading exponents of the聽sarod, will lead two events on Saturday and Sunday. A distinguished disciple of聽Maestro Ali Akbar Khan, Rajeev's聽performances masterfully combine the depth and聽rigor of the tradition of Hindustani classical music with an inspired聽imagination and emotional intensity.

Saturday, October 20 at 6:30pm, Old Main Chapel, CU-麻豆影院 campus

A 2-hour sarod concert, featuring classical Indian music.

Sunday, October 21 at 10:30am, Concert Hall in the College of Music, CU-麻豆影院 campus

An interactive workshop, designed to give participants a聽chance to learn about Indian music and culture.

Both events are free and open to the public. Sponsored by聽AID-Colorado, CUSG Representative Council, and CAS.
