The Center for Asian Studies is pleased to announce the upcoming event:

The Crane Wife is a puppet theatre performance based on the Japanese folk tale of the same name.聽聽The show features puppets, actors, shadow theatre, masks, movement, and live music.聽聽Inspired by Japanese culture and aesthetic as well as Japanese theatre forms such as Bunraku, Kabuki and Noh, the show creates an enchanting atmosphere to take the audience on a mystical journey. Free admission.

There will be two performances:聽Friday, September 14 at 7 PM聽and聽Saturday, September 15 at 3 PM. Both performances will take place at the聽, on CU-麻豆影院 campus.
