A new volume released by the聽National Academy of Education (NAEd) this month, Reimagining Balanced Assessment Systems, "expands upon our understanding of balanced assessment systems and provides critical guidance to researchers and practitioners". Many CADRE partners contributed to this volume, including聽Faculty Partner聽Lorrie Shepard聽who participated on the steering committee,聽CADRE Associate Director聽Elena Diaz-Bilello who was a lead author for chapter six, and Faculty Affiliate聽Erin Furtak聽who co-authored chapter four.
The Women in Measurement Board of Directors honored聽Faculty Partner聽Lorrie Shepard聽with the聽2024 Women in Measurement Leadership Award this April.聽The Women in Measurement Leadership Award is an annual honor given to a leader in the field who has contributed significantly to advancing the mission of Women in Measurement through her work.
