As the PhD Program Manager at the Leeds School of Business, Steffie oversees all administrative and operational aspects of a top-40 PhD program, including admissions, student services, and program milestones. With a focus on organizational change in higher education, she specializes in streamlining workflows, improving efficiency, and enhancing the student experience. Recently, she has led efforts to integrate Generative AI into administrative operations, training staff and advancing AI literacy as a founding member of the Leeds AI Advisory Committee for Operations.
A Denver native, Steffie holds a BS in Biology from Regis University and an MA in Higher Education from the University of Denver. Before joining CU, she served at the University of Denver鈥檚 Center for Multicultural Excellence and as president of the Staff Advisory Council, gaining extensive experience supporting underrepresented college students and staff, including students with disabilities, LGBTIQ students, and students of color.
