In his role as Program Coordinator, Reece provides faculty support for the Leeds School of Business, Business Core and Business Applied Semester Experience (BASE) Programs. He works in coordination with Faculty Support Services in the supervision of Undergraduate and Graduate Teaching Assistants where he directly supports the coordination of administrative operations to help deliver a consistent experience for students and faculty alike.
Professionally, Reece’s work has focused on people, process and technology. Before accepting the role as a Program Coordinator within CU’s Leeds School of Business, Reece served in various roles across Oil and Gas, Healthcare and Telecommunications. While serving as an Instructional Designer for Pacific Gas and Electric he developed policy, procedures, training, and systems with Subject Matter Experts at every level of the organization, from individual contributors to executive stakeholders. His team’s work enabled the company to save upward of $500,000 in annual curriculum development costs by measurably reducing the time to market and increasing the throughput of curriculum development products. His expertise in performance improvement led to his promotion to Senior Business Process Analyst within Gas Operations Portfolio Management and Engineering in 2016 where he earned his Lean 6 Sigma, Greenbelt through the implementation of waste reducing Lean controls and variance reducing process improvements. Additionally, Reece’s industry work provided him the opportunity to serve as an E-Learning Specialist for Lucile Packard Children’s Health focusing on employee wage and hour policies and as a Instructional Designer for Apple where he developed learning solution proposals for Retail Cash Applications.
Reece Hauf is from Minot, North Dakota, and is a graduate of the California State University, Chico Marketing and Instructional Design programs. During his time at Chico he served as the Marketing Director for supportREALteachers.org, a function of the Center for the Advancement of Standards-Based Physical Education (CASPER), the President of the Chico State Instructional Design & Technology Society and as a Supported Living Service Provider helping community members live with dignity.
