Currently, Shannon is the Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer at Crocs, a progressive footwear company. Reporting directly to the CEO, Shannon has played a critical leadership role in the turnaround of Crocs since 2017. Notable accomplishments include stock price growth from $7 to $100+, employee engagement in the of global retailers, rightsizing the global retail footprint and accelerating digital commerce, shifting internal manufacturing to 3rd parties, designing/opening new and , expanding , advancing Crocs Cares corporate and implementing globally consistent people practices that have enabled the organization to . Previously, Shannon served as the Senior Vice President of HR at Western Union and led large-scale business transformation efforts. Shannon was also the Vice President of Talent and Diversity at DaVita and was responsible for leading efforts to optimally select, assess, develop, and retain teammates while managing corporate social responsibility and diversity initiatives. Prior to DaVita, Shannon was the Senior Vice President and Global Head of HR at Janus Capital Group and started her career at TeleTech, Level(3) Communications and Accenture.
Shannon earned her MBA from the University of Denver (DU) and a bachelor’s degree in Finance, from the University of Colorado (CU) at Â鶹ӰԺ. She is an active member of NACD and in 2021 completed her NACD Directorship Certification and the Harvard Women on Boards executive education program.
Shannon is passionate about promoting education and advancing women/girls. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts of Colorado (GSCO), is the Board Governance Chair and recently led a successful GSCO CEO search. She also serves on the Board for the CU Leeds School of Business. After 10 years, she concluded her Director responsibilities at the Leadership Investment and completed the Ashoka Executive in Residence program volunteering for Fundación Escuela Nueva in Bogota, Colombia.
