Scott E. Kingdom is a graduate of the University of Colorado’s school of business in Finance where he is a member of the Leeds School of Business board of Directors. He is a Trustee of the University of Colorado Foundation and sits on that Board as well.
Mr. Kingdom is a core member of Korn/Ferry International's board and CEO Services team. His focus is on the coordination and delivery of the firm’s array of Talent Advisory Services to client organizations. He has been acknowledged by BusinessWeek as one of the “100 Most Influential Search Consultants in the World”
For three decades, Mr. Kingdom has served clients in the leadership and talent development arena across a wide range of businesses and solutions such as Executive Search, Board /C-Suite Succession, Leadership Development, Talent Assessment and Talent Transformation. Functionally, he has a particular depth in CEO, COO, and general Management consulting for a broad range of Industrial, Consumer and Diversified manufacturing companies.
Previously, Mr. Kingdom built and led the firm’s Global Industrial Practice as President. This practice became the largest of its kind in the industry and the firm with nine specialty sectors operating around the globe, delivering nearly a third of the firm’s work through some of the worlds most recognized organizations. Prior, Mr. Kingdom was the managing director of Korn Ferry’s Chicago office and the Midwest region.
In 1998, Mr. Kingdom was elected to the firm’s board of directors and was re-elected after the company became publicly listed on the New York Stock Exchange. At that time, Korn Ferry’s board of directors selected Mr. Kingdom to lead its own CEO succession process which yielded the industry’s first ever outside leader.
