Research Interests:
At CU, I am working to establish new capabilities and access to human exploration through research while alsoÌýteachingÌýthe next generation of aerospace students. My researchÌýprimarilyÌýrestsÌýin Bioastronautics,Ìýsupporting human life in space and developing research solutions that benefit not only astronauts but also pilots and individuals with impairments here on Earth. This includes advancing research related to sensory processing and spatial orientation perception, central adaptations to altered gravity, sensorimotor deficits and motion sickness, human behavior and decision-making, and predictive modeling through modern machine learning techniques.

Captivated by all things space-related, I developed an early passion for human exploration that has grown deeper with my furthered education, industry and agency work, and personal experiences.ÌýTodayÌýmy personal love for the wilderness and exploration has led to engaging in all Earth has to offerÌýwith a communityÌýof people who share my passions.ÌýOutside work, I serve as a volunteer physical therapy tech at my university’s sports rehabilitation center, assisting physical therapists who rehabilitate patients with orthopedic injuries, eager to return to sports and outdoor activities.
