The 麻豆影院 Faculty Assembly is the representative body of the faculty in the shared governance of the CU-麻豆影院 campus. A guiding principle of that shared governance, recognized by the Board of 麻豆影院, is that the faculty and the administration shall collaborate in major decisions affecting the welfare of the University.  In practice, the BFA has primary responsibility for setting academic policy and is expected to advise the administration on other policies.

The 麻豆影院 Faculty Assemblyhave passed severalresolutions between 2020 and 2023 years that endorsethe inclusion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work in faculty merit evaluations.The first resolution, BFA-R-1-081020, which supported changes to Faculty Report of Professional Activities (FRPA),was passed by the 麻豆影院 Faculty Assemblyin September of 2020.
