Previously a practicing urban designer working for the last five years across multiple international firms, Taylor Tidwell is now pursuing a more cross-disciplinary, technology-focused design approach. Taylor believes overall infrastructural change embedded in computation and technology access can yield a positive impact. He wants to address human perception by creating new tactical methods where technology, VR, computational design and fabrication play an integral role in championing heritage, history and character within underrepresented communities. Taylor also believes providing design, technology and fabrication services in neglected communities can facilitate creative problem solving and social dialogue that can be applied across a spectrum of civic fundamentals.
