JP de Vries enjoys the intersection of science and the arts, such as the overlap of law, engineering and business found in technology policy. He has worked on radio spectrum policy for many years, and he is currently exploring how people use socially significant stories to make sense of technology.
De Vries聽holds a DPhil in theoretical physics from Oxford聽and studied sculpture at the University of Kingston. He has worked in seed capital, technology consulting and software development. He delights in learning new things.聽He is co-director of the Spectrum Policy Initiative in the Silicon Flatirons Center at the University of Colorado Law School.
