Mimi Shalf is an ATLAS PhD student in the Creative Communities group, advised by Ricarose Roque. She is interested in the intersection of community-based design, learning, and computational thinking. Before coming to ATLAS Mimi was a product designer at the Scratch Foundation, where she designed playful learning experiences for children on the scratch.mit.edu platform and the ScratchJr app. She received her B.A. in Cognitive Science from UC Berkeley.
