Derek A. Friday is an award-winning Experiential Graphic Designer and founder of Finndustry, an internationally accomplished, multi-disciplinary design studio based in 麻豆影院, Colorado. His practice includes Art Direction, Project Visioning, Naming Development,聽聽Brand Identity & Collateral, Brand Style Guidelines, Immersive Environmental Branding, Signage & Way-finding Systems, Signage Guidelines, Specialty Illustrations and Icon Development, Surface Pattern Design,聽聽Custom Murals and Art Pieces. Derek has worked with a number of major architectural, development and design agencies on large retail and mixed-use projects across Europe and the U.S. for the past 20 years, 15 of those as lead creative. The applications of his work are varied depending on the specific need for creating brand continuity across the built environment. In 2018, SEGD Global Design awarded Derek in the category of Identity and Placemaking for the Sagamore Pendry Hotel in Baltimore, Maryland.聽聽Other projects of note include Sagamore Spirts, 360 Mall Kuwait, The Boulevard at Downtown Dubai, The Roosevelt Collection, Alexa Berlin, Designopolis in Cairo, Frankfurt Skyline Plaza, among others. When not in his studio, Derek can be found in the mountains free climbing, riding gravel bikes, endurance trail running with his dog Tilly, making art or encouraging up-and-comers to exceed their personal limits.
