Spring 2016 | Hybrid Course Design Seminar
We welcome applicants for the Spring 2016 Hybrid Course Design Seminar for faculty in tenure-track or instructor ranks. The seminar will meet for two hours, 6-8 times during the course of the semester. Selected faculty will be expected to participate in all sessions, to contribute to an online forum, and to produce a full hybrid course design by the end of the seminar. Participants will redesign a traditional face to face course using Hybrid Course Design approaches to replace some face to face contact hours with online and other activities. Each participant will receive $2,000 award for their professional use transferred to an appropriate departmental speedtype; funds may not be used as a salary stipend.
