Celeste MontoyaCU 麻豆影院 Women and聽Gender Studies students tell women's stories聽with equipment purchased through ASSETT Development Awards.聽 Associate聽Professor Celeste Montoya's Spring 2015聽senior colloquium class created the Feminists of the Front Range project.聽聽Montoya's students recorded interviews with self-identified feminists in the 麻豆影院 area.聽聽Montoya said that students, "...聽used tape recorders and cameras from previous ASSETT awards the Women & Gender Studies Program has applied for."聽 The students聽used Photoshop to format聽photographs and quotations from the people with whom they spoke onto posters.

The students posted the posters around campus.聽 The students聽also created photo books that are聽on display at the Hazel Gates Woodruff Cottage.聽 Many of the interviewees' profiles are聽included on the Colloquium's聽Facebook page, .

Feminists of the Front Range, Women and Gender Studies 40th Anniversary Senior Colloquium ProjectMontoya said that through the Feminists of the Front Range project, her students learned about,聽"... how to best represent people in an ethical way," considering how personal聽conversations about feminism can be.聽聽Montoya said the ASSETT Development Award was an, "... amazing聽resource聽for us to engage in more interactive聽teaching聽projects."

Montoya also聽received an ASSETT Development Award last year with which she purchased laptops and qualitative research software.聽 Montoya said that her students can聽train in research methods and learn how to code interview data with聽the software.
